Now Open in McLean, VA: Meet the Leaders Behind the Newest Huntington Learning Center
Huntington Learning Center has officially opened its doors in McLean, Virginia and the team behind it is ready to make a difference. Led by franchisees Neelima Meenaga and Sanjay Daga, the new center began serving students on June 30, bringing personalized tutoring and test prep services to families throughout Fairfax County.
For Neelima and Sanjay, opening a Huntington Learning Center is more than just a business decision, it’s a way to give back. With decades of experience in financial services, technology, and leadership, they’re combining their professional strengths with a shared passion for education and community growth.
A Foundation Built on Purpose
“We wanted to build something that contributes to the greater good,” said Neelima. “Huntington’s mission of academic achievement and confidence-building really spoke to us. We’re excited to help students succeed and support families who want to see their children thrive.”
Before launching the center, Neelima spent more than 20 years in the mortgage and financial services industries, where she specialized in business process automation, enterprise applications, and software engineering. She’s also known for her leadership in team development and mentoring.
Sanjay brings over 15 years of experience in building data infrastructure and conducting financial analysis for major financial institutions. Together, their skills translate into a strong foundation for running a center focused on operational excellence, student success, and long-term impact.
Helping Students Reach Their Full Potential
At the new McLean center, students will find a supportive, welcoming environment where academic goals are met with personalized learning plans, expert instruction, and plenty of encouragement along the way. The center offers tutoring in reading, writing, math, science, study skills, and test prep for exams like the SAT and ACT.
In the short term, Neelima and Sanjay are focused on creating a seamless experience for families and ensuring that every student gets the individualized support they need. Long term, they aim to partner with local public and private schools and become a trusted resource in the McLean community.
