Huntington Learning Center is proud to welcome its newest franchisee, Gee Patel, who opened the Buford, Georgia, location on November 11, 2025. Patel brings years of educational experience, a passion for helping children thrive, and a deep appreciation for the transformational power of Huntington programs.
A Journey Rooted in Education and Opportunity
Born in Gujarat, India, Patel moved with his family to London at age ten and later immigrated to the United States in 1983. Patel’s career has always centered on supporting children. With eight years of experience in a Montessori school and five months of training at the Suwannee Huntington Learning Center, Patel observed the impact of the Huntington approach firsthand.
During this training, Patel saw students gain confidence, improve academically, and develop renewed motivation toward learning. These experiences inspired Patel to explore franchise ownership.
“I was truly moved by the changes I saw in students who came to Huntington. Their confidence grew, their academic abilities strengthened, and many developed a completely different attitude toward learning. Huntington’s curriculum is strong, intentional, and designed to help every child succeed. That is what inspired me to bring this opportunity to Buford.”

“I want our center to be a true partner in the community. My goal is to help close learning gaps, strengthen foundational skills, and provide parents with a trusted resource they can depend on. When students succeed, the entire community benefits.”
